IMPORTANT - READ

Will not work on aluminum or plastic

The vent must be made of steel for the vent cover to adhere to the vent. Some vents have many layers of paint which diminishes the magnetic attraction.

Test the vent with a magnet to make sure it sticks on the vent.

Does not work on ridged vents - see below -  on your ceiling as there is not enough metal to stick to.
